Do you ever have those days where every song on the radio sounds the same? Or your best Spotify playlists are just not working for you? Do you want to actually know what’s going on in the world but don’t want to take hours to sift through a million articles? Or do you want to learn more about a specific topic without taking a class? If you said yes to any of these questions, or came up with three more on your own, you need to download some podcasts.
Podcasts are a killer way to create goodness in your life by growing your knowledge base and expanding your perspective on a variety of topics.
Take a break from the mundane routine of turning on the radio, shuffling a playlist, and even clicking the “next episode” button on Netflix. You can stay up to date with the latest news, hear a review on a movie or show you are on the fence about, learn new and exciting things, or even get caught up in an thrilling story.
My Favorite Podcasts:
News & Politics: Up First
Pop Culture: Pop Culture Happy Hour
Psychology: Hidden Brain
Technology/Design: TED Radio Hour
Black Life: The Nod

For Beginners:
How? Easy. Download the Podcast app on the device you are currently holding and begin searching/adding certain shows to your library.
But there are so many? I know and it’s awesome!! It’s definitely overwhelming, but so worth it. Take it slow. Choose one show and start with one episode.
